The past few weeks, the Science classes focused on predator/prey relationships and food chains and food webs. 6th grade students completed the Owl Pellet Dissection Lab- students found several different rodent skeletons and a few groups found bird skeletons. Also found in a few owl pellets were indigestible items like exoskeletons of insects, corn kernels, and small seeds. Prior to completing the actual lab, students dissected a pellet virtually in the TMS computer labs.
